A job can be very boring and tedious. This is especially so if you are doing something that you do not alike and it is repetitive, have workmates and employees who are constantly on your case which results in tension in the workplace. Seems like a hopeless situation right? Well, maybe not…
An office party is the solution! This is a great way for everyone to just kick back and release the pilling tension and stress as you’re having a drink or two while you socialize and mingle. But after a while, this could start getting boring and people will lose enthusiasm for the subsequent parties. So what do you do in this case? You introduce party games. These will ensure that everyone is having a great time especially today as the long weekend is just beginning! Some of the games you can try out are:
Here you have the chance to show off your mad skills with the deck of cards. This can be really fun because of the competitiveness of the game and you can get the chance to give some sweet revenge to someone who was giving you a hard time during the week
Truth or dare
I believe most of you know how this works. You spin a bottle and whoever it points to when it stops spinning is supposed to choose between doing a dare or saying the truth about something. This game could get out of hand so keep it clean.
This involves arranging seats with their back rests in contact and selected players walk round the seats while dancing to some music. When the music stops abruptly, everyone should sit on a seat as quickly as they can and anyone who misses out on a seat is removed from the game. The cycle continues till one person remains and wins the game. It is also very competitive.
Two truths, one lie
The game involves everyone saying 3 things about themselves. 2 should be true and 1 should be a lie. The rest of the team is tasked with finding out which are true and which is a lie. It’s a good way of knowing more about your fellow employees.
Works best if you have an office which has great hiding places for objects. Objects belonging to different people are hidden around the office and then ones who find them are supposed to determine who they belong to.
