The Kenya Music Week is on its 10th edition still going strong and this edition promises to be bigger and better as it coincides with the Kenya at 50 celebrations on the 12th December. It has also consistently lived its Mission of helping to develop a Kenya Music Industry that is Professional, Transparent and Profitable for all.
It is expected to attract about 15,000 visitors and will include 67 exhibition stands occupied by suppliers of goods and services within the music industry thus visitors will have a chance to shop early for Christmas. A range of over 20 Djs’ will also be mixed tracks from all across the period of 50 years so you are sure to be kept entertained.
From 6pm to 8pm daily there will be performances by top artists such as Chris Adwar, Mercy Myra, Parking Lot Grass, Kombo and Afro Simba and many more on a concert stage. For the upcoming talents, you have open mic between 1pm and 2pm and aspiring artists will also be able to record their personal tributes to Kenya at 50.
