It had a slow start, by 7:30pm the gates were not opened and only a few photographers, bloggers and security guards were around the gate, and the lingering clouds made the situation worse, being on the same weekend as night of a thousand laughs and at an outdoor venue guys were torn in between which event to attend , nevertheless the gates opened at around 8pm and as expected there were only a few people inside then it started raining heavily and for a moment I was convinced it was going to happen as planned, around 10:30pm the rain stopped, Thank God and by 11pm the venue was packed, Dejavu! Project X, all over again.
There is something unique about Jameson live parties, they don’t bank on shipping top notch musicians to grace their party, and they keep it local and maybe just maybe one international DJ. This is what makes the event a success especially after the few incidences with organiser raising expectations too high with international musicians (not mentioning names) then disappointing during the event. This was well organized and thought of.
I have to been to a few concerts and this event made it way up the list, the experiences was fresh and live. Don’t miss out the next event you can subscribe for email alerts here.
They say seeing is believing and we got a few photos for you,
