How the #BlueMoonFest went down
The #BlueMoonFest happened this past Saturday and all we can say is that it was extremely well planned. From the tent which was a mega dome in preparation for the rain that was expected to fall from the heavens to the sound equipment for the event. As you bought your ticket and were screened, you would be directed to the colorful tunnel like entrance by the beautiful models and finally to the dome where the party was bumping up.
Attendees were then directed to the photo booth to take their arrival photo and afterwards handed their free cocktail to start off their night with a bang. The party was already in gear with ZJ Heno on the decks getting everyone into a dancing mood with his prowess. The food was to die for and there were affordable bitings to keep you going till morning.
Mwalimu Rachel was the emcee and she made sure that everyone was enjoying their night and even awarded different fans some t-shirts and shooters as the night went on.
The first performance of the night was Kansoul who rocked the crowd with their various tracks and finished with their favorite one; “Nyongwa” and left everyone craving for more.
DJ Kafi took over afterwards and we waited for the next performance which was meant to be P-Unit and they kept time by arriving early for their performance. They did an equally good job of keeping their fans entertained and their biggest fan even received a watch from Frasha.
Now all that remained was to the biggest star of the night to perform; Yemi Alade. She clocked in at around 2am looking very beautiful in her getup and performed all the tracks you have come to love from her. She kept the fans engaged with by calling some 5 random fans from the crowd to have a dance off and the 2 winners of the dance off has a chance to dance with her in the last performance of the night.
The crowd left the venue having enjoyed themselves to the fullest as you can see below.
