5 of the best events to attend 16th January 2014

Towards the end of the year there were lots of events going down especially so during the festive season. After we broke into 2014 well, there was a drastic drop in events being hosted and event organizers have been busy planning their next big events. Not to worry though, there are still some events going on as usual and here are just some of them happening this weekend.

Eve of Poetry

This is an evening of art to provoke thought, convict the heart and inspire the mind for change.
Eve of poetry is a themed spoken word event that runs every month at the St. Andrews Church PCEA. If you love poetry, this is for you! Check out what’s it’s all about here

An evening of AfroJazz

This event happens every month and mainly consists of afrojazz music featuring many different artists. Ricky Nanjero who is a very talented bass player is the main performer for this edition. Get more information here

Nairobi Live With Sarabi Band

Nairobi Live is a live music event  which happens every week at The Treehouse where a performer or band performs their different types of music to the crowd. This week’s edition will be having Sarabi Band performing. Click here to find out who they are and their music.

Billfish Open Challenge
